Does it help to view the McGann special first? Is it available in the States?

Viewing the McGann special does not help in any way, shape or form. (Although I enjoy it; McGann himself would have been great as the Doctor ongoing.)

To my knowledge it hasn't been released, but I haven't looked. I recorded it when it first came on.
